We’re only a day into 2008, but already Kerry Katona’s causing trouble wherever she goes – as well as her New Year’s Eve brawl with the in-laws, she’s also now in hot water with her employers. It’s hard to escape the fact that Kerry’s the face of Iceland supermarkets, what with those blood-curdlingly annoying ads being rammed down our throats every two minutes, but Kerry was obviously hoping it would somehow slip our minds as she sent out a friend to stock up her freezer with several bags of food… from Sainsbury’s! Her faux pas is bound to get a frosty reception from Iceland bosses (frosty reception! Geddit! With jokes like this, how can it possibly be the most depressing day of the year?) so we’re keeping our (fish) fingers crossed that we might have seen the last of those excruciating ads…
