Simon spent HOW much?
We all know that Simon Cowell has made a shed-load of cash from X Factor and American Idol, but if there’s ever been proof that the high-waisted one is OBSCENELY minted, it’s his latest purchase. Simon has just spent £40million on a house in West London. *Faints.* He recently bought the Grade II-listed home in Holland Park, but it’s currently undergoing extensive restoration works so it’ll be a while since the great one moves in. The building work includes an underground extension (a celebrity must-have apparently), a swimming pool, spa, massive kitchen and a car park (Pay & Display?). heatworld wishes we were uber-rich and could live there, instead of the mice-infested one-bedder it currently lives in. Anyway, let’s hope there’s some extra-big fitted wardrobes being built for all those black polo necks and cuban-heeled slip-ons.
