Paris Hilton prides herself on being able to get any man she wants – but she found out the other night that some men are a little more discerning than others. According to reports from the US, Paris “aggressively tried to hook up with” singer John Mayer at a post-Grammy party but, despite the fact that he’s not averse to a ditzy blonde (he dated Jessica Simpson, remember), he was so not interested. “She was following him around and dancing, trying to get him to look at her,” says a spy at the bash. “At one point, she sat at a table and tapped on the seat to motion him to sit next to her. John politely sat for less than a second before ignoring her and moving to chat with a group of friends.” Oh god, it’s like our school disco all over again…
