Skip back ten years to 1997: the Spice Girls were splitting up, Britney was hitting the headlines for the first time and we were glued to our screens watching Ricky and Bianca screaming at each other on EastEnders. Er, hang on – nothing much has changed, has it? Yes, that's right – those two cheeky cockney sparrows are returning to the Square! Ten years after 22 million people watched them tie the knot, Rickaaaaaaaaaaaaay and Bianca are back for Frank's funeral – and Bianca has a whole litter of children in tow all by different dads. Patsy Palmer, who plays the ginger nut, said she is “really excited about rejoining the cast and working with old friends again." While we're not sure if they're any wiser, they're definitely, er, older.
Sheepish update: OK, so the Spice Girls didn't split up in 1997. And Britney wasn't famous then either. heatworld's feeling a little discombobulated today because we're moving offices and all the dust has affected our concept of time. Sorry.
