What a surprise – Heather Mills isn’t letting that whole divorce settlement thing lie. She’s now reportedly calling in a team of accountants to see if Paul McCartney is really only worth £400 million (yes, “only” – makes you sick, doesn’t it?!). After last week’s divorce hearing, Heather told the press that “we all know he’s worth £800million”, and she’s now making it her mission to confirm this. However, a legal expert says that the investigation is pretty pointless. “Mr Justice Bennett made the ruling based on Heather's need and also based on the standard of living the couple enjoyed when they were together,” says the source. “It is quite possible that even if Heather proves that Paul was worth £800million, it would not greatly affect the ruling. It is certainly not a given that she would even be granted leave to appeal.” Oh, can’t she just go off to some island somewhere and spend her £24million on pina coladas and suncream?
