A post mortem examination is due to take place later today, after Mark Speight’s parents have formally identified his body. The tragic kids TV presenter was found hanged within the roof of London’s Paddington Station yesterday, but police are currently treating his death as “unexplained” and subject to an ongoing investigation. The post mortem should confirm how he died before an inquest opens. Mark was missing for six days before his body was found by a rail maintenance man, but police believe he died on Monday, as his mobile phone and Oyster travelcard had not been used since then.
