You may remember that Mischa Barton was arrested over Christmas for drink-driving – and now the actress has reportedly struck up a plea deal which means she won’t be going to jail over the incident. Mischa was caught by police on 27 December, when they spotted her weaving erratically between two lanes of traffic in Los Angeles, and failing to indicate when making a turn. Mischa’s case will be signed off by courts later this week, and it’s believed that she’ll plea “no contest” to the drink-driving charge, while the marijuana possession charge will be dropped, due to the small amount found. The former OC star will receive a three year unsupervised probation term and be forced to pay a fine and go to alcohol education classes for three months. Apparently, this is all pretty standard stuff for a case like this. Mischa spoke out about the incident a few months ago, saying “Obviously I'm 100 per cent responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't know what to say about it, except that I'm not perfect, and I just don't ever intend to do something this stupid again.” Let’s hope she sticks to it as, under the terms of her sentence, she’ll be in big trouble if she doesn’t…
