Yesterday, we broke the news that Kerry Katona had gone into labour, five weeks early. But now, more than 24 hours on, Kerry still hasn’t given birth. We’ve just talked to her spokesperson, who revealed that she has been given medication to halt the process. “Kerry’s waters broke in the early hours of Wednesday morning,” they said in an official statement. “At the hospital, medication was given to stop contractions. A decision will be made in the next 24 hours as to when doctors induce labour. At present both mum and baby are not in any distress and the longer the onset of labour is delayed the better it is for both of them. Kerry would like to thank everyone for the messages of support and also the doctors and nurses who are providing excellent care.”
