It’s the final of American Idol tonight (although we won’t see it until Friday on ITV2 at 9pm), so Simon Cowell’s been on the promotional trail, and yesterday he paid a visit to the lovely Ellen DeGeneres. And we have to admit that seeing Ellen and Simon chatting and joking together really is rather entertaining. Ellen quite brilliantly gives Simon a hard time about his nastiness, even playing him clips of his harshest comments, which then leads Simon to admit that he hates himself a bit. Yikes! Anyhoo… if you want to waste a bit of time in the run up to home time may we suggest that you settle down with a nice cuppa and watch this 7-minute long clip from the show. Our we-know-it’s-wrong-but-we-can’t-help-it crush on Simon might be returning. Help!
