Sometimes we wish we could pull a sickie every day just so that we could giggle at the bizarre, unexpected things that seem to happen regularly on daytime TV – it’s like a secret world that we only get to inhabit when we’ve got a cold/stubbed toe/particularly brutal hangover. On today’s This Morning, Eamon Holmes got rather more than he’d bargained for when a female guest, who’d just been talking about the somewhat dry issue of hypothyroidism, accosted him for a huge hug, not realising that the cameras were still rolling. How embarrassing! The look on the lady’s face when she realises her mistake is classic. We think we love her.
