Jamie-Lynn Spears has kept an extremely low-profile ever since tabloids in the US claimed that her fiance Casey Aldridge had been cheating on her for months with a 28 year old woman. But now she’s stepped out for the first time, with her newborn baby daughter Maddie in her arms. When Kelli Dawson claimed that she’d been having an on/off two-year affair with Casey, 17-year-old Jamie Lynn fled the Mississippi home the couple shared to stay with mum Lynne in Kentwood, Louisiana. Despite the allegations, you can see from our picture that Jamie Lynn is still wearing the engagement ring Casey gave her earlier this year – but Kelli says the affair stopped towards the end of Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy. Nice. “It just didn’t feel right,” she told US mag In Touch. “He had to deal with the baby coming, and it had to stop.” Bizarrely, Britney’s first husband Jason Alexander (remember him? Gawd, that feels like aaaages ago) supported the claims, saying “Kelli and Casey have been a couple on and off for a few years. They were a really tight couple, but I think it was hard for Kelli, having Jamie Lynn in the picture.” Hmm, we’d imagine it’s a little harder for poor Jamie-Lynn now, wouldn’t you?
