OMG! While we were still preparing ourselves for the possibility of a sequel to the SATC film, there is now a new, mega-exciting SATC development. Candace Bushnell, the woman behind the SATC books, has decided to write TWO new books, all about what Carrie was like as a teenager at high school. “I’ve always been interested in exploring Carrie’s teenage years,” Candace said. “Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd – she led it. It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.” The first novel is due to hit book shops (sorry, should we be all American and says stores? Er, perhaps not) in Autumn 2010. We are biting our toenails in anticipation – it almost makes us want to learn how to read.
