We love the fact that Russell Brand is a big star in America now – but some of the comments he made on legendary talk show Jay Leno last night have got certain quarters of the British press all offended. Russell appeared on the chat show alongside Eva Longoria Parker and naturally, had a massive flirt with her, even offering to, um, wee on her if she ever has the urge. But it’s what he said about the Queen that has a few stuffy newspapers all riled up. Russell joked that he wanted to fondle the Queen’s boobs when he met her at Royal Variety Performance – and it’s been described as “crude” and “uncomfortable” – they’re even saying that he “plumbed new depths on US television.” Um, we find it hard to believe that that’s the case – we’ve seen Jerry Springer!
