Being the bunch of nosy parkers that we are (what? It's in our job description you know!), we always like finding out exactly how much celebrities earn – even if it does usually make us cry a bit. We're often left baffled as to how some "celebrities" manage to always have the latest designer bag and top-end sports car, when they don't even seem to actually work. Anyway, we've now discovered how much Strictly star Brendan Cole earns, and we must say, we were very surprised. Brendan, who, let's remember, does actually do something, has admitted that he only gets paid £30,000 per series. OK, so that's not exactly peanuts, but it does seem low for such a big primetime show like Strictly, doesn't it? Brendan is not very happy with his earnings, saying, "My money from Strictly just about pays the bills. I don't have a car but I would like to get one. I don't even own my own house that I live in. I can't afford it. I rent where I live." You may be thinking he's just being a silly whinger, but when you discover that the Strictly judges get around £90,000 each and Brucie and Tess even more, you can start to see why he might be a little annoyed. The professional dancers on the show are all paid the same amount, and, although Brendan is arguably better known than his colleagues, the Strictly team have refused to discuss a pay increase. Brendan works approximately 50 hours a week during the 14-week contract, and now sources close to the show are worried that one of the dancers will get fed up and walk. "The problem is, the BBC don't see Brendan or any of the dancers worthy of a rise," explained the insider, "One day one of the top dancers will walk off mid-season, leaving the show in chaos." Ooer. Please don't walk out Brendan, we just love your cheesy outfits every week. Do you think Brendan and the other Strictly dancers should be getting more dosh, or do you think he's just moaning about nothing?
