As we reported earlier today, tabloids over the weekend were saying that Jesse Metcalfe would be getting paid £100,000 to appear on the forthcoming series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. But now Jesse’s people have issued a strong denial about the rumours, and are keen to emphasise that he’s still a working actor. “Hollywood actor Jesse Metcalfe would like to categorically deny that he is involved in the ITV1 show I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,” read the statement. “Jesse has been in the UK promoting his upcoming movies The Other End Of The Line and Beyond A Reasonable Doubt (which stars Michael Douglas).” OK, we get it – Jesse’s working with very famous actors and will not be tucking into poisonous frogs any time soon. We can’t help but be disappointed though – all eye candy is welcome in that jungle.
