The BBC have today ruled that no more action will be taken against Jonathan Ross after his suspension over the Andrew Sachs phone call hoo-ha. The BBC has today published a report which states that while the calls were “grossly offensive” and “a deplorable intrusion” but said that “the right action” had already been taken. Jonathan is now set to return to his £6million a year job when his period of suspension ends in January. Interestingly, it’s also emerged that only two people complained after the original broadcast – the other 42,000 came when the story hit the papers, with many of the complainers never even hearing the offending phone calls. Hopefully now this whole farce will die a death…
Jonathan not axed!
