After THAT This Morning interview last month, in which she blamed her incessant slurring on her bipolar medication, Kerry Katona was asked by Iceland to undergo alcohol tests – and the results are in. But before you get too excited, we’re not being told exactly what the outcome was. This is what Iceland told us: “Following on from Kerry Katona’s appearance on the This Morning programme, we were concerned about Kerry slurring her words and her general well being. We have been working closely with her to make sure she gets the best possible support. This has included the services of a medical team via our corporate health scheme. We are not at liberty to disclose personal information such as the outcome of the tests. Kerry is, however, fit and well in herself and she will be monitoring the dosage of her prescription medicine carefully. We look forward to another successful Christmas with Kerry and our other face of Iceland advertising, Coleen Nolan.” Surely, though, if it was good news, Kerry would want to boast to the world she’s clean? Hmm. But despite her boos (no pun intended, of course…) at last night’s MTV EMAs, Iceland HAS confirmed she is still working on their Christmas campaign, so are things perhaps not as bad as they seem?
