If you're anything like heatworld, you'll still be reeling in shock after hearing reports that Gordon Ramsay has been involved in a secret affair for the past seven years. Although neither Gordon, nor his alleged mistress Sarah Symonds, have denied the allegations, the chef's spokesman has said that "everything is fine" with the married couple, and Gordon's wife Tana has been out on the school run this morning with a smile on her face. Whatever the truth behind these allegations, there's no doubt that the "other woman" in this equation is an intriguing character. We've done a little digging, and discovered that there is a LOT of information on Ms Sarah Symonds – and pretty much all of it is controversial. First of all, 38-year-old has basically made a career out of being a mistress. Following on from a very high-profile affair with Jeffrey Archer, after which Symonds told of sex sessions where Archer wore "big white underpants" *bangs head on wall to rid brain of mental image*, she wrote a book entitled Having An Affair? A Handbook For The Other Woman. The book, which Sarah published using her own money, became so controversial that she was invited onto Oprah Winfrey's chat show to discuss it. The ambitious blonde has described herself as an "adultery expert" in the past and, naturally, she has women all over the world divided. In her book, Symonds advises women not to feel sorry for a man's wife, and that children are a "feeble excuse" for a man not to leaving his family. Symonds then defends her actions by claiming she was “young and foolish” in the beginning, and then became accustomed to the lavish lifestyle. The Welsh-born mistress also made reference in her book to a "friend" who was having an affair with a "world-famous TV chef, well-known...for both his bad language and his good food". The book describes how the "friend" was flabbergasted to see a glossy magazine shoot where the same chef talked about how strong his marriage was. It all sounds a bit fishy to us. What do you think of Sarah Symonds and her book? Have YOU ever been the "other woman" or have you ever experienced the cheating ways of a partner first hand? Come on, let's all open up and have a nice healthy debate about it all.
Just who IS this woman?
