However, true to form, Simon Cowell has gone against what is normal and expected and decided to give his ex Terri Seymour a very generous parting gift. According to reports, the music mogul has given Terri a $9.6million (£6 million) goodbye gift, which includes a $5million cash sum and a $4.6m mansion in Beverly Hills. Wowser! Still, we are talking about one of the highest-paid TV stars on the planet here, so there's no doubt he can afford to be generous. The X Factor judge said recently, "When people moan about been a celebrity, I think 'Oh please, sort yourself out' – it’s the greatest job in the world." We like his attitude. Do you reckon if we went on a bad blind date with Simon he would buy us a pony the next day? Might be worth a try...
