If we were a celeb, we'd be very wary of appearing on any kind of talk-show at the moment. The latest celeb to fall victim of what is almost becoming a trend for complaining is Nigella Lawson, who's (quite frankly, bizarre) comments about killing a bear have outraged a number of animal right's protestors. Chatting away about the fur debate on BBC's The One Show, the voluptuous chef said, "I feel going into a shop and buying a fur coat would be an act of weakness, but if I could go out into the woods and kill a bear myself, I would then wear it proudly as a trophy." Obviously, there's no way Nigella will actually be heading out to kill a bear any time soon, but that didn't stop people being infuriated by her comments. The complaints flooded in on the live show, with one viewer saying Nigella had "blood on her hands". However, the chef refused to apologise, saying instead, "If you're in nature, it's either you go or the bear goes." Animal rights groups have been quick to condemn her words, with one saying, "By making such sick comments, Nigella is serving only to endorse this kind of practice. If she could see the way in which bears and other animals are killed in the wild, then she wouldn't have been so flippant…" Ooer. Do you think Nigella deserves all this ear-bashing, or are all these complainers just acting like bears with sore heads?
Nigella's in trouble...
