Friday nights haven’t quite been the same since Jonathan Ross was suspended from broadcasting over all that unfortunate Sachsgate hoo-ha. We’ve missed the banter and cheeky celebrity interviews that we’ve come to expect from Friday Night With..., so of course we tuned in when the show returned, and my goodness, Rossy did not disappoint. We still can’t quite believe that Jonathan asked Tom Cruise – who is, despite his lessening popularity, still one of the biggest film stars on the planet – about farting in front of Katie. We can’t imagine that during the thousands of interviews he’s probably done that Tom Cruise has EVER been asked about bottom burps, which is precisely why this moment is so funny, and why we’re so happy to have Jonathan Ross back on our screens.
