It’s just emerged that Jade Goody could have a case for negligence against the NHS for initially missing her cervical cancer. “If you are losing blood and collapsing, your cancer is established,” says medical lawyer Sarah Harman, referring to the mysterious symptoms Jade suffered from up to three years before her diagnosis. “It’s strange it wasn’t diagnosed. Jade’s symptoms should have been investigated.” Apparently this now means that Jade could win a “loss of earnings” pay-out if she did decide to sue – but it’s thought that doesn’t want to. “I respect the fact she doesn’t want to sue the NHS, but she has two children to think about,” adds the lawyer. Earlier today, we reported that Jade’s future looks more hopeful, thanks to a new drug. We’re all thinking of you, Jade.
