Jade Goody’s close friend and bridesmaid Kelly Reading has just appeared on This Morning to talk about the wedding – and has revealed that Jade gave her and her fellow bridesmaids a special present. After the ceremony on Sunday, Jade gave Kelly and the other girls a ring engraved with the words “With you always” – as well as letting them keep the Christian Louboutin shoes they wore on the big day. Kelly also says the build-up to the last-minute wedding was extremely hectic. “Leading up to the wedding was busy for everyone,” she said. “All the bridesmaids were sat in hospital beside Jade with notepads and laptops trying to help her organise everything. But it was fun and we managed to get everything she wanted. Jade came home on Friday and we had a pampering day. She told us all that we were looking tired and ugly and that we needed pampering! She then took us to have a day of getting treatments with her.” Kelly added that on the day itself Jade was more worried about getting her grandmother ready for the wedding than she was about herself. “We all got up at 8am and met for breakfast in our robes,” Kelly explains. “But before we all started getting ready, Jade wanted to help her Nan get ready first. She said, 'I wont feel comfortable until my Nan is ready'.” Kelly also says the girls shared an extremely emotional moment as they arrived at the venue in Essex. “We got into the helicopter,” she says. “As we were approaching the venue, Jade looked down and said 'Oh my God, that's where I'm getting married!' We all held hands and had a moment between us.”
