Now, we haven't talked much about this series of Skins so far, but that's not because we aren't loving every second of it. We were a bit concerned that the new crew would never come up to the amazing standard set by Tony, Michelle and co, but we needn't have worried. This year's cast are every bit as hilarious, touching, sexy (hello Cook and Freddie!) and controversial as the last, and every week they deliver first-rate performances across the board. So far this series we've focused on Cook (who we've developed a not-very-secret crush on), Thomas and Pandora (who we think might be the greatest Skins character, like, ever), and this week it's Freddie's turn. In case you're not familiar with the show, Freddie is the sexy, dark-eyed and floppy-haired skateboarder in the above clip and the girl wearing the extremely scary pink outfit is his big sister Karen. She has infuriated Freddie because she's using the memory of their dead mum to try to progress through a TV talent show – judged by Javine Hylton and hosted by Scott Mills, look! – and while he's having to deal with all this, he's also wrestling with his feelings for Tony's younger, and equally troublesome, sister Effy. Will Freddie persuade his sister to see sense, and will him and Effy ever stop making eyes at each other and actually get snogging? We can't wait to find out...
