It’s been a dodgy couple of weeks for Miley Cyrus – first there was that whole hoo-ha over that photo and now she’s being criticised for messing up her performance on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. Those of you who spent Valentine’s night being wined and dined or sobbing into your pillows might have missed Miley fluffing her lines as she sang her new single Fly On The Wall, but you can have a look at our clip – it all goes wrong at about the one minute mark. Anyhoo, it’s now been revealed that the dodgy performance cost her record label £150,000. Yep, that’s how much they paid to fly her to London by private jet (and imagine the carbon footprint, tut tut) – and she was only here for 20 hours! Still, unlike many pop stars, at least Miley doesn’t mime her way through TV performances. As her spokesman put it, “She always sings live so anything can happen.” Hmm, in that case she might like to learn the words to her own songs…
