Now, even if you're not watching American Idol, never plan to watch American Idol or even really hate American Idol, you still absolutely have to watch this hilarious clip from this week's show. Contestant Nick Mitchell – who the audience and viewers love, by the way – got a standing ovation from the studio audience for his rendition of the Dreamgirls song And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going, but we don't think they were applauding his singing ability. Not only does he literally scream into the microphone and writhe around on the floor, but Nick then gets angry at the end when a bemused Simon Cowell dares to criticise his talents. It's really funny, in a slightly terrifying way, and it's worth watching just to hear what he says to Simon at the end... Classic!
