Awards season isn’t quite over yet (and thank goodness for that, because we never get bored of looking at all those pretty and not so pretty red-carpet frocks), and the next big showbiz do is the TV BAFTA awards on 26 April. The nominations have been announced today, and there are a few surprises. June Brown aka Dot Cotton on EastEnders has been nominated for the very first time in the Actress category. Meanwhile, despite his recent troublesome antics, Jonathan Ross got a nod in the Entertainment Performance category along side Ant and Dec, Harry Hill and Stephen Fry. Corrie has been snubbed in the Continuing Drama category, but arch rival EastEnders has been nominated. So, what do you make of all that then? What have been your TV highlights over the past year?
