Brave Jade Goody managed a thumbs-up and a wave as she was transferred from one hospital to another last night, despite only just finding out the news that her new husband may be going back to jail. Jack Tweed reportedly sobbed in court yesterday as he was found guilty of assaulting 54-year-old cab driver Stephen Wilkins, and shortly after broke the news to a devastated Jade. A friend of the couple revealed, "Jack told Jade all about the case. She was just relieved he was not put straight back in jail and can be with her as much as possible over the coming weeks." Meanwhile, Jade's publicist Max Clifford has been talking about the operation she had to remove a blockage on her bowel, and it is not yet clear whether or not the procedure was a complete success. "The next 24 hours are critical," he explained. "If her bowel is cleared and she's able to eat properly and regain some strength, she could live much longer than just a month." Jade's pain is thought to have eased considerably by the operation, although the cancer is now affecting her eyesight as it attacks her brain. We can only hope Jade is as comfortable as possible, and we continue to be astounded by her bravery and positive attitude.
