Major stars leave Hollyoaks
If you're anything like heatworld, then a staple part of your Sunday-morning post pissed-up haze involves lying on your sofa under a duvet watching the Hollyoaks omnibus on T4. Even if you've been watching it all week. As a result, we're well aware of the fact that some characters are heading for trouble. Warren Fox, played by actor Jamie Lomas, has not only murdered and buried his former best friend, had a sordid affair with his wife-to-be's bridesmaid, blackmailed a policeman after faking a drug dealer's death, become a small-time cocaine dealer and slept with Mercedes on her hen night, but he's also killed the love of his life, Louise. Not a nice man. As is always the case for unsavoury characters such as Warren, their comeuppance must come some time – and for this Chester criminal it's going to be quite a dramatic one. Jamie Lomas and long-term Hollyoaks' heartthrob Chris Fountain (Justin Burton) will both be leaving the soap at the end of the month following a sensational fire in The Loft night club. Yikes! Chris Fountain said of his decision to leave, "I'll be sad to leave as I've had some great times and gained a lot of good friends at work, but I personally feel that it's the right time for me – and Justin – to move on…" Jamie Lomas agreed he'd had "a lot of fun" playing baddie Warren, saying, "I'm delighted to be going out as part of such a dramatic storyline and my final scenes are some of the most dramatic I've ever filmed. I'm sure viewers will be hooked!" Will you be sad to say farewell to Justin and Warren?
