The funeral directors who are organising Jade Goody’s ceremony have released detailed plans for the day in a statement on their website. In response to hundreds of enquiries from fans who want to pay their respects to Jade, FA Albin & Sons have explained what will happen before Jade is buried next Saturday – and have confirmed that, contrary to some reports, the journey will begin in Bermondsey, south east London, where she grew up. When the procession eventually arrives in Essex, the “grand celebration of her life” will begin at St John’s Church, and will indeed be screened outside for fans, before a private burial takes place for family and close friends only. You can click here if you want to know more details. As you’ll see, dozens of people have already left flowers for Jade at the funeral home, so we can only imagine how many will turn up on the day itself.
