Tyra reassures America’s Next Top Model auditionees after stampede horror

Tyra Banks has spoken out about the bizarre riots that took place during an America’s Next Top Model audition in New York over the weekend. We brought you scary footage yesterday of the panic which erupted when hundreds of wannabe models tried to run away from what they thought was a bomb, but turned out to be a silly old overheating car. And now the show’s presenter, former supermodel Tyra, says she’ll do all she can to make sure the girls caught up in the drama still get to audition. “To all the Top Model hopefuls who were affected by the New York casting,” she says. “We are doing everything we can to make sure that ALL the girls who weren't seen, get an opportunity to audition — we'll update you on our plans very soon.”  New York police have also spoken out about the stampede, and said that the show’s organisers should have notified them about the crowd situation beforehand. Gosh, what a drama.
