So it seems it’s not just Piers Morgan who’s melted the hearts of American TV bosses – his Britain’s Got Talent co-judge has managed it too, and now’s she’s set to cross the pond to make her big debut. Amanda Holden has reportedly impresseed US channel CBS' management team, and they’ve excitedly snapped her up to present a daytime news-talk programme. “Network executives were blown away by Amanda’s cut-glass British accent and warm personality,” revealed a studio source, “But she’s understandably pretty nervous”. Amanda’s big moment will take place on 1 June, and she’ll be broadcasting live from New York. According to the source, if she performs on the day, a full-time contract might be heading her way! Cor blimey, there won't be any Brit presenters left here at this rate.
