Piers Morgan has denied claims that Susan Boyle has suffered a breakdown, saying that she simply needs some "rest" away from the media. Piers said her admission to The Priory was "entirely voluntary" and that any claims she was having a breakdown were "exaggerated". "She has gone in there to get some rest and get away from everyone, get away from the show, the media, the public and have some downtime," he explained. "The idea that Simon is totally oblivious to the whole thing and just wants to make money out of her couldn't be further from the truth. Simon, like everyone, is very concerned about Susan. No-one could have predicted this." Piers has always been vocal in his support of Susan Boyle, and last week even wrote a blog defending her. He was possibly the most surprised of the three judges when Su-Bo failed to win on Saturday.
