The BBC have just announced that Sir Alan Sugar will be allowed to keep his role on The Apprentice, as his new position working within the government will "not compromise the BBC's impartiality". Because the grizzly one will be on TV doing The Apprentice during the next General Election, it was feared that his presence could influence voters, or suggest that the BBC supported his political views. Thankfully, however, the BBC have decided this is not the case. Sir Alan is said to be "glad" with the news – but we're literally breathing a huge sigh of relief over at heatworld. The Apprentice without Margaret is bad enough, but with no Sir Alan it just would never have worked.
