We have to admit it, there was a little lump in our throat last Friday as we watched Fern Britton’s last ever This Morning show, and it seems that we’re not the only ones to feel a bit emotional about Fern’s departure. The lady herself has written a very sweet note to all This Morning viewers, and it’s really quite touching, just have a little read for yourself…
Dear This Morning Viewers,
On Friday 17th July, I forgot to thank YOU for all your kindness and support to me over the last ten years.
Without you, the programme simply would not exist and the fact that we all love it equally is the reason it works so well.
I am going to miss our morning chats so very much, and I want to thank you for all your gorgeous cards, gifts and truly moving messages.
I will try to answer them all, but in case I don't manage that, please know that I have received them, read them and treasure them.
