Ricky Whittle has slipped ahead of fellow contestant Ali Bastian to be named the favourite to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The Hollyoaks' actor admitted at the end of last week that he was feeling the pressure – and the pain – of being in the competition, but those nerves didn't show at the weekend when he gave two brilliant performances. His Rhumba was so sexy we even (almost) forget he was wearing a puce shirt. Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said this morning, "Whittle is definitely the one to beat – he's the red-hot favourite in our book. Something will have to have gone dreadfully wrong to prevent him going odds on in the next couple of weeks." Ricky is sitting on odds of 5/4, while Ali Bastian isn't far behind on 7/2. Poor old Jo Wood is languishing at the bottom of the pile, with odds of 150/1. Oh dear. Watch this clip of Ricky in action if you haven't already, then tell us your thoughts.
