We thought the Britney Spears Glee episode was doomed after Mr Schue (Matthew Morrisson) said publicly that it was a really bad idea - but happily the show's bosses don't agree with him. "We are writing a Britney Spears episode," confirmed Glee creator Ryan Murphy this weekend. Yay and woop! He didn't say whether or not Britney herself would be making an appearance, but a number of other rumours about possible celeb guest stars have been denied. Katie Holmes, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and Julia Roberts had all been rumoured to be taking part in the next series of the show, but in reality none of them are. We're still keeping our fingers crossed for a Justin Timberlake cameo, though. Maybe he could appear in the Britney episode...?
