In the news this morning we reported that Patsy Palmer understood why some EastEnders viewers were upset by the current controversial storyline (you know the one), and that her own daughter had been unsettled by the events on screen. However some other media outlets also came to the conclusion that Patsy – who plays Bianca on the soap – has now quit over the storyline, which isn’t true. Patsy’s contract with EastEnders has run out and she wants to spend quality time with her new baby rather than going back to work. We’ve now heard directly from Patsy, who’s rubbished suggestions that she is leaving the BBC show over the baby swap plot,
“I have not quit EastEnders over the current storyline as reports suggest. My contract came to an end soon after I gave birth to Bertie and as I have already said, I just want to spend every minute with him. I love EastEnders and have every intention of returning when the time is right for me and the show.”
We’re just gutted that Bianca leaving the Square at all, EastEnders won’t be the same with out her big mouth and gold jewellery.
