The bi-annual Comic Relief fundraising telethon kicked off in style tonight and even though we’ve only got a vague idea of what lies ahead, we’ve got a sneaky feeling it’s going to be a spectacular show.
So far we’ve chuckled at Lenny Henry’s spoof of The King’s Speech, been entertained by hosts Claudia Winkleman and Michael McIntyre and most exciting of all we’ve even been treated to not one, but two spoof mini episodes of Doctor Who (if you missed it you can watch above and click here for part two), but there’s still so much more to come.
There’s Ruby Wax, Claudia Winkleman and Miranda Hart competing in Comic Relief Does Masterchef, a Downton Abbey spoof staring Victoria Wood, Joanna Lumley and Kim Cattrall, called Uptown Downstairs Abbey and of course no Comic Relief would be complete without an extra special episode of Eastenders.
Phew! That's a lot of exciting TV, we’re exhausted just thinking about it.
So, what are you looking forward to most? And more importantly have you donated any of your cold hard cash yet?
