Rumours are rife in the US that the delicious Enrique Iglesias has been asked to be the new Dermot O'Leary of US X Factor.
According to reports from straight over the pond, Simon Cowell has approached the sexy Spaniard asking if he wants in and if he's up for being the face of the show. The rumour comes after it was suggested that a male pin-up singer could be in the running for one of the show's many positions.
Now, although we totally welcome the chance to watch the lush Enrique week in, week out for the duration of an entire series, it just won’t be the same without lovely Dermot O’Leary, will it? With his spinning-on-one-leg ways and the casual manner in which he takes the mickey out of the judging panel, we reckon Dermot is the perfect host – but alas, he’s already confirmed he’s out out of the running, so it really might just be Enrique who will be warming us up during each episode, getting us all in the mood for music. We suppose we can handle that.

Apparently huge music guru and ex-Def Jam record boss, LA Reid, could be one of the judges alongside Simon Cowell. This news comes as LA announced that he has officially left his job at Def Jam after a very long run there - leading to speculation about his next career move. LA has basically helped launch the careers of Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Kanye West so he clearly knows his game!
