Our favourite Let’s Dance For Comic Relief performances

Posted by 07 March 2011 12:55

Another Saturday night meant another new batch of celebrities and professional funny people making total arses of themselves for charity – yep, we enjoyed watching Let’s Dance For Comic Relief too.

Highlights included Ade Edmonson’s The Dying Swan, complete with a very special guest. Anyone else actually reckon that Ade made for a half decent ballerina? The voting public loved his graceful and artistic display (or maybe it was the frying pan brutality) so much that he won the public vote, automatically going through to next week’s final.

We also loved Joe Swash and Caroline Flack as they tackled My Humps – or maybe it’s song itself that’s so funny – either way we were entertained. Sadly Joe and Caz were beaten to a place in the final by The 80s Supergroup; their rocking and rolling performance of Greased Lightnin’ saw Chesney Hawks, Liamahl, Toyah Wilcox and Clare Grogan win over the judges and make it into the final.

I was in the audience for this at the weekend and Jennifer Saunders' face was an absolute picture when he first came onto the stage.
