Is the X factor about to become a lot nicer? It is if ITV bosses get their way.
The TV chiefs are in advance talks with Take That star Gary Barlow over replacing Simon Cowell on the judging panel.
Show sources confirmed negotiations were still underway with the 40 year old but said: "Gary is our favourite for the job."
The boy band superstar had previously denied rumours he was joining the show and a spokesperson had brushed it off as 'speculation' but it seems we could be seeing a lot more of the singer.
Huge sigh of relief though, ladies, it won't interfere with Take That schedules if he does take the hot seat.
Take That tour, not under threat
X factor bosses have pushed auditions back to May and are working on a schedule allowing Barlow to perform with the boy-band and continue with their Progression tour ending in July.
But we've got to 'have a little patience' (see what we did there?) as it could be weeks till an announcement is made.
One things for sure though, that panel is about to become a lot more sexier.
