If we were Taylor Momsen we'd be getting a right complex about being dumped. First of all Her Royal Muscle, Madonna, ditches her as the face of her Material Girl range (lets face it that was never going to end well) and now she’s been sent packing from Gossip Girl too.
According to our sources across the pond, the 17-year-old – who has only made a couple of appearances this series – won’t be returning full-time in her role as Jenny Humphrey but will only be invited back on a guest star basis. Ouch. Also set to hit the skids and return on an as-needed basis is Jessica Szohr’s character Vanessa, Dan’s on-off girlfriend, who this series announced she was going to study abroad. But to be honest, we’re not sad about that because her whiny voice was starting to grate and it might mean we’ve got more of a chance with her real-life on-off boyfriend Ed Westwick (hey, we're allowed to dream as much as the next person).
But don’t worry it’s not all doom and gloom, Kaylee DeFer aka Serena’s cousin Charlie has been signed up for series 5 and is set to become a regular, so fingers crossed she’ll more than make up the bitchy quota.
