If you don’t want to know about what’s going to be happening on Coronation Street in the next few months – look away now...
She’s only just found out her husband is a full-blown crazy murderer but it looks like Coronation Street’s John Stape will be well and truly letting his wife Fiz take the rap for his crimes – by escaping to Ireland and letting her take the blame for his misdemeanours in court.
According to top Corrie boss Phil Colinson, Fiz – played by the lovely Jenni McAlpine – will go to jail after cops find out she helped husband John move the body of Colin Fishwick. Following her admission, she’ll be going down for murdering three people. Eek!
Phil explained, “Fiz is going to be remanded in custody quite soon and she actually gets charged with three murders. Her murder trial is going to come up across the autumn as well. There are lots of twists and turns.” Blimey, we can’t wait to see this storyline build up – although hopefully it won’t be quite as tedious as John Stape’s murder storyline – which literally lasted for a ger-zillion years.
Phil also revealed there might be a bit of love heading Tyrone’s (played by Alan Hasall) way. The poor fella who lost his cheating wife Molly Dobbs at Christmas after the tram crash is about to fall head-over-heels for a new lady called Kirsty. But Phil explained it won’t be all fun and games. “It’s not all going to be a smooth ride for Tyrone. He’s got a lot of baggage and he’s got a lot to get over,” he said.
Ooh, we can’t wait! Bring it on Corrie!
