She may have lost out in the Apprentice final to geeky inventor Tom Pellereau, but that hasn't stopped the unstoppable runner-up Helen Milligan getting a swanky new job of her own.
Helen, who worked for Greggs (the bakery) before starting the BBC1 show, has been offered a job back with the same firm – but this time in a much more senior role. Greggs' Finance Director, a fella called Richard, confirmed the news by saying, "She will be back with us and will be taking up a very senior position." Wow. Go, Helen, and all that.
Imagine all the Baked Bean Slices you could buy on a "senior position" salary. It appears Helen's bosses were paying attention on Sunday night during The Apprentice You're Hired, when Lord Sugar himself urged whoever employed Helen to offer her a big promotion. And, let's face it, working with iced buns and prawn baguettes is always going to be more fun than spending nine hours a day with old grizzly chops. Congratulations, Helen
