It seems like just five minutes ago that we told you about Elizabeth Hurley joining the cast of Gossip Girl, and now here she is on the set. And she’s flirting with Nate Archibald no less.
Liz and Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford took to the streets of New York to shoot a scene together, giving us our first look at new character Diana Payne. GG producers have previously described Liz’s character Diana as, “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with.” Wow, Liz has a lot to live up to. We’re excited to see if she call pull it off.
The 46-year-old actress has used her Twitter page to tell fans how excited she is to join the teen drama, and to a little whinge about the New York heat,
“Reading my script for Gossip Girl, episode 1, season 5. Can't give anything away but it's FAB! Can't wait to shoot it."
“New York was fiendishly hot yesterday – bit better today. Gorgeous though.”
Do you think Liz will be a welcome addition to Gossip Girl? As long as she keeps her mitts off Chuck, we’ll be happy.
