They’ve not even made it to the live finals yet, but X Factor judges Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos have already been discussing just how much they want to return to the show. The pair are special guests on tonight’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show – and will be discussing everything from behind the scenes gossip to the future of their respective bands.
But it didn’t take Gary long to say he’ll be happy to be on our screens again next autumn. “. I’ve absolutely enjoyed every minute and would love to do it again,” he told Jonathan.
Tulisa also agreed with the sentiment, saying she was very worried about whether the public would accept her. ““It’s our first year on the show, hopefully not the last,” she smiled. “When I knew I could possibly have the job (on X Factor) I was ecstatic. Then all of a sudden I got the job and thought ‘Oh god, what if people don’t like me?’. I think coming from N-Dubz we’re like Marmite, you either love us or hate us. I was prepared for the worst. When I got a good response from the public I was over the moon.”
The judges will be joined by actor Ewan McGregor on the show tonight too – and with a little bit of camera trickery, Ewan will be seen getting all manly on his motorbike and attempting to ‘leap’ over Gary, Tulisa and fellow guest Steve Coogan (as Alan Partridge) while they all lie on the floor in wait.
Without being crude, we’re quite looking forward to seeing Gazza B lying down on his back. And hopefully he'll be back on the show next year too. You can't have too much of the Barlow.
