If you’re getting Chuck Bass withdrawals while you count the minutes until you have some Gossip Girl to gawp at on the telly, then take a deep breath, and relax. It might not be on TV until later in the autumn, but each week series five is available to download from iTunes so we can keep up with America. Yes!
The first episode went online last week, and there’s just as much scandal and action as we hoped. Blair is still planning her wedding to her royal Prince, but when cracks start appearing in her relationship, which of the Upper East Side menfolk will she turn to? Serena is trying to carve out a career helping out on a Hollywood film set (what do you mean it's inappropriate to wear Lycra dresses and Manolos when you're a lowly assistant?), and Chuck and Nate are also in LA and doing what they do best – being single, promiscuous and looking hot. Nate even manages to bag himself a leopard-print clad older woman, it’s only Liz-ruddy-Hurley!
