Gavin Henson’s done it. The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross is going to do it. We’re talking about starring on Channel Five’s Reality/dating TV show The Bachelor, of course.
Now the station – which is also home to Celebrity Big Brother – is planning on launching The Bachelorette, with one lucky lady being wooed by 25 men. Former TOWIE Amy Childs has reportedly been signed up to be that lucky lady.
“The Bachelorette has done big business over in the US so British TV execs want a slice of the action,” and insider tells The Sun.
“Amy has been picked to be the temptress because she's pretty easy on the eye. It's not going to be hard to find 25 blokes who fancy becoming her boyfriend. Who knows, she may even settle down with one of them. They could set up home in a nice mock Tudor place in Essex.”
Amy’s already the star of her own C5 Reality TV show It’s All About Amy, so Five didn’t exactly cast their net far and wide when looking for their bachelorette. Still, we think Amy will be fun – but what do YOU think?
