We need to start by making one thing clear: we love, have always loved and will always love Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. It would be fair to say it’s been a year of ups and down for the duo, though. While the nation celebrated the royal love-fest in April, Dec split from two-year girlfriend Georgie Thompson. Then there was better-best-forgotten matter of Red or Black, a few months later.
Then November happened. Yes, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returned and with it, the funniest Ant and Dec moments we’ve EVER seen. From episode one we knew it was going to be a cracking series, when Dec joked “We’ve got something for everyone, even a little Willie.” “Hey. Size doesn’t matter,” said Ant, with Dec replying, “You always say that.”
There are too many moments to choose a favourite, but the pair discussing Pat Sharp and Sinitta’s arrival has to be up there…
Dec: If you are wondering what Pat bought into the jungle as his luxury item, it was his mobile phone. In fact, we have it here.

Dec: Hello! Yeah they’re fine. Ok, bye bye.
Ant: Who was that?
Dec: That was the 80’s, asking how Pat Sharp was.
One thing we did learn is that the pair aren’t as close as we’d thought. Judging by this clip they have pretty strict boundaries. Although thankfully, we know really they’ll both be snuggled up under a blanket together this Christmas singing carols in the PJ and Duncan style, right boys?
